More details in the release notes:
The new features for the 17.08 cycle must be submitted before the end
of May, in order to be reviewed and integrated during June.
The next release is expected to happen at the very beginning of August.
There were a lot of bugs discovered in the last days of 17.05.
It is probably a sign that DPDK is more and more tested.
