General Announcements
* Patrick Robb from UNH is on vacation next week (May 1 to 8), please avoid
unicasting emails to Patrick. Lincoln & the team are still in the lab.

=====================================================================
CI Status

---------------------------------------------------------------------
UNH-IOL Community Lab
* NIC hardware refresh: Lincoln has polled Nvidia and Intel folks inquiring
about testing an Nvidia cx7 NIC in one of the servers donated by intel. If
both parties are okay with it, then we will proceed with sharing the server.
* Jeremy’s FIPS ACVP tool which is used in UNH CI is now merged to the
dpdk-ci repo. Thank you Ali and Aaron for the reviews and merge.
* Broadcom25G performance testing instability: ARM has requested that the
Broadcom-25g be moved to the Altra server and tested there. If the problem
persists in the newer server, they’ll investigate the issue.
   * It is dry running today and we should have results by EOD showing
whether the high variance remains
* Intel-40G performance testing instability: We took the Intel-40G offline
due to some increased performance variance causing intermittent false
failures. I have updated to the latest i40e driver and NIC firmware without
improvement, so I’m not looking through the DTS setup for any potential
issues and have a correspondence with Lijuan on the matter.
* Kmod testing is fixed in our CI
   * We are now building the entire linux kernel instead of a subset of
modules. A recent commit to the linux kernel repo changed the default
behavior associated with doing kernel module builds from warning to error,
with an optional flag added to ignore the warnings like before. We are
going to stick with the full build at Ferruh’s recommendation, as he
believes not doing so may result in other issues down the road.
* UNH will look into limiting the subject line length for report emails

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel Lab
* None

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Loongarch Lab
* None

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Github Actions
* None

=====================================================================
DTS Improvements & Test Development
* Jeremy is looking into implementing the generic layer for sending
commands from tester to DUT for interactive scripts
   * Fabric may lack the send and expect aspect available in pexpect which
is needed for this layer
   * 2 concurrent SSH sessions between the hosts should be fine
* DTS 23.07 roadmap is complete, will be sent out to the community soon
* Jeremy and Patrick will look at Juraj’s fabric patch + others from roadmap

=====================================================================
Any other business
* Next meeting is May 11
