General Announcements

CI Status

---------------------------------------------------------------------
General
*Loongson/LoongArch is beginning to do some CI testing and review - Ali and
David are helping with this process

---------------------------------------------------------------------
UNH-IOL Community Lab
*Owen has submitted a v3 of his dpdk-ci container builder patchset to the
mailing list, and continues to refine the patch per Ali’s feedback.
*Begun work setting up a Jenkins pipeline for the stable / staging LTS
branch testing, which will be added to run / trigger from the Github
mirror. Ping Kevin with any questions.
*Finishing up dashboard proxy configuration for the Arch Linux build status
badge - should be available for patchworks site integration early next
week.
*Community Lab team members are currently working on bringing the Ampere
Altra (aarch64) test bed online
*Lab received a suggestion that we incorporate ZUC and SNOW3G autotests to
the Community lab. We’ll determine how we can best support this and move
forward.
*Lab had a partial outage for OS unit and compile testing yesterday due to
our private container image registry - full CI testing back online now

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Intel Lab

*Intel is freezing distro OS versions at time of LTS release to prevent any
failures associated with OS updates as opposed to DPDK updates.
*Intel setting up functional baseline testing on the DPDK main tree and
other branches (next-net… etc). Intel previously had a gap not testing the
baseline.
*Intel is now working on DPDK 22.11

---------------------------------------------------------------------
Github Actions
*Holding pattern regarding schedule for security updates - Michael Santana
and Aaron Conole are working on this, but are busy with OvS conference for
the time being - should speed up after November.
*Patches to review for GHA yaml

=====================================================================
DTS Improvements & Test Development
*DTS WG meetings switched from Thursdays to Wednesdays - happening on the
off weeks in between community CI meetings. DTS WG members will still
participate with the CI community meetings, but, going forward, DTS
discussion will be headed by Honnappa immediately following CI discussion,
with a separate DTS WG meeting minutes doc. This meeting is the first with
this approach.

=====================================================================
Any other business
*Next CI meeting: November 10, 2022
