From: email@example.com To: firstname.lastname@example.org Subject: [dpdk-ci] [Bug 166] patch may fail to apply when it targets different sub-tree other than main tree Date: Tue, 18 Dec 2018 14:37:00 +0000 Message-ID: <email@example.com/> (raw) https://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=166 Bug ID: 166 Summary: patch may fail to apply when it targets different sub-tree other than main tree Product: lab Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: CONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: Normal Component: dashboard Assignee: firstname.lastname@example.org Reporter: email@example.com CC: firstname.lastname@example.org Target Milestone: --- DPDK development done hierarchically to split the work. There are multiple sub-trees and some patch may target some specific tree, which is not clear from metadata of the patch. During the next phases of the release, sub-trees may diverge more and any patch target to a sub-tree may not cleanly apply to the main repo, this blocks that patch to be tested in the community lab. Need to find a way to be able to test those patches. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
