Subject: [dpdk-ci] [Bug 651] Update the meson version to 0.57.0 for Windows used in CI pipeline
Date: Tue, 09 Mar 2021 21:15:14 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <bug-651-149@http.bugs.dpdk.org/> (raw)
https://bugs.dpdk.org/show_bug.cgi?id=651
Bug ID: 651
Summary: Update the meson version to 0.57.0 for Windows used in
CI pipeline
Product: lab
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: Windows
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: job scripts
Assignee: ci@dpdk.org
Reporter: jizh@microsoft.com
CC: dpdklab@iol.unh.edu
Target Milestone: ---
At porting testpmd to Windows, discovered that meson has a bug which generates
incorrect linker flag "--subsystem,console" instead of "/subsystem:console" and
will fail the DPDK build on Windows. Meson 0.57.0 has the fix and should be
used for DPDK Windows build.
Can your team please help update the meson used in CI pipeline?
Thanks!
Jie
