Subject: [dpdk-dev] [dpdk-announce] release candidate 16.04-rc3
Date: Sat, 02 Apr 2016 00:12:50 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1898651.B5vpyc2ZQ0@xps13> (raw)

A new DPDK release candidate is ready for testing:
	http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/tag/?id=v16.04-rc3
Do not be shy, it is not an April joke.

Most of the changes are some bug fixes or adjustments for compilers.
The link speed API rework is now integrated. Please continue testing
the link negotiation with your hardware.

The release is planned for next week.
Do not forget to send a deprecation notice if needed.

There are some compilation bugs remaining and some docs to update.
Thanks for filling the drivers matrix in doc/guides/nics/overview.rst.

Please avoid sending some patches for 16.07 until the release is closed.
Thank you
