Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v7 1/2] ring: add reset API to flush the ring when not in use
Date: Fri, 15 Mar 2019 11:31:25 +0800	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1552620686-10347-2-git-send-email-gavin.hu@arm.com> (raw)
Message-ID: <20190315033125.kyRyDLx9jlxBG-Df4YMPR6awE8b39WTEC23okGyq4KM@z> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1552620686-10347-1-git-send-email-gavin.hu@arm.com>
In-Reply-To: <20181212062404.30243-1-gavin.hu@arm.com>

Currently, the flush is done by dequeuing the ring in a while loop. It is
much simpler to flush the queue by resetting the head and tail indices.
