Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v1 3/8] gro: support IPv6 VXLAN TCP/IPv4
Date: Mon, 21 Dec 2020 11:50:47 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20201221035052.128292-4-yang_y_yi@163.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20201221035052.128292-1-yang_y_yi@163.com>
From: Yi Yang <yangyi01@inspur.com>
IPv6 VXLAN TCP/IPv4 GRO can help improve TCP/IPv4 performance
in IPv6 VXLAN use case.
With this enabled in DPDK, OVS DPDK can leverage it to improve
VM-to-VM TCP/IPv4 performance, it will merge small adjacent
IPv6 VXLAN TCP/IPv4 packets to a big IPv6 VXLAN TCP/IPv4 packet
immediate after they are received from a physical NIC. It is
very helpful in OVS DPDK IPv6 VXLAN use case.
