Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v1 5/8] gro: support UDP/IPv6
Date: Mon, 21 Dec 2020 11:50:49 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20201221035052.128292-6-yang_y_yi@163.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20201221035052.128292-1-yang_y_yi@163.com>
From: Yi Yang <yangyi01@inspur.com>
UDP/IPv6 GRO can help improve UDP/IPv6 performance.
With this enabled in DPDK, OVS DPDK can leverage it
to improve VM-to-VM UDP/IPv6 performance, it will merge
small adjacent UDP/IPv6 fragments to a big UDP/IPv6 packet
immediate after they are received from a physical NIC. It
is very helpful in OVS DPDK VLAN use case.
