Looks like pktgen is stuck in time warp. Docs I found are quite old.
Is there a current documentation site? Is it still maintained?

Indeed.
I started a offlist discussion last week when I found out that the
dpdk.org version was lagging behind when compared to the github repo.
I aligned dpdk.org version for now.
It seems Keith does not want to use dpdk.org anymore.
A next step is for Keith to put a notice in dpdk.org repo to make this clear.
