Subject: [dpdk-dev] [dpdk-announce] release candidate 16.07-rc2
Date: Mon, 11 Jul 2016 22:19:14 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <3263516.QV896KpsLa@xps13> (raw)
A new DPDK release candidate is ready for testing:
http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/tag/?id=v16.07-rc2
There was no major change in this second release candidate
except the pmdinfo tool. Most of the other patches were some fixes.
Special thanks to Bruce and Yuanhan who helped a lot with the next- trees
to make -rc1 and -rc2. The trees dpdk-next-net and dpdk-next-virtio will
not be pulled anymore until the release.
We have two weeks to intensively test this release and make it a
very stable one we can be proud of.
To achieve this goal, only the important fixes and documentation
updates will be accepted.
Thank you everyone
