Could you check and update if any progress on this?
We got a call with VMware today, and VMware mentioned that the workaround is not acceptable based on their application use case, so need Intel help to find out other way to solve it ASAP.
We got PO 500pcs from VMware but the issue will impact product launch indeed, so really need the help from Intel and treat it as high priority.

Per talked, we try to reopen this IPS case due to VMware project, and customer is not acceptable to go for workaround as in ICE_PMD which change the “no wait” to “wait_to_complete,
because it takes up to 2 seconds to detect link change, and customer need link change detection as soon as possible due to it’s product support High availability (HA) features.
so kindly check if still possible to fix it by other solution? TKS.

There is a workaround in ICE PMD, change the “no wait” to “wait_to_complete” mode when ice_interrupt_handler() updates the link status in
