Bug ID: 1431
Summary: net/tap: treats kernel device full as error
Product: DPDK
Version: 24.03
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: ethdev
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: stephen@networkplumber.org
Target Milestone: ---
The TAP PMD treats the kernel returning EAGAIN because its queue is full as an
error. This is incorrect, the PMD should just quietly return the number of
mbufs successfully sent.
