Bug ID: 380
Summary: memory subsystem leaks file descriptors
Product: DPDK
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: core
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: stephen@networkplumber.org
Target Milestone: ---
The DPDK EAL memory segment code opens a file descriptor for each memory
segment, and these are never closed even after rte_eal_cleanup is called.
Either the file should be closed after mmap (kernel will still have reference)
or more cleanup logic needs to be added
