Bug ID: 417
Summary: CentOS7/RHEL7 nasm version too old for intel-ipsec-mb
Product: DPDK
Version: 20.02
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: cryptodev
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: kevuzaj@gmail.com
Target Milestone: ---
Some crypto drivers like KASUMI/SNOW 3G/ZUC require intel-ipsec-mb. However, on
CentOS7/RHEL7 with the default repos, the nasm version is too old for
intel-ipsec-mb.
Not sure if these drivers are intended to work on CentOS7/RHEL7. If not, it
would be good to update the documentation.
# cat /etc/redhat-release
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.7 (Maipo)
# rpm -qa | grep nasm
nasm-2.10.07-7.el7.x86_64
