Bug ID: 558
Summary: mlx5: xstats names are not standard
Product: DPDK
Version: unspecified
Hardware: All
OS: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: Normal
Component: ethdev
Assignee: dev@dpdk.org
Reporter: iryzhov@nfware.com
Target Milestone: ---
xstats names for simple stats are mostly standardized in ethdev drivers, for
example:
rx_multicast_packets
rx_broadcast_packets
tx_multicast_packets
tx_broadcast_packets
but mlx5 driver adds "port" word to all its xstats names:
rx_port_multicast_packets
rx_port_broadcast_packets
etc.
I suppose it doesn't conform to the "Scheme for Human Readable Names" described
in the docs and should be fixed.
