The guest is running debian and dpdk 20.11.3 i40evf PMD on VF and Host running
i40e 2.12.6.3 on PF.
When the guest comes up and initializes it fails with the error.
i40evf_check_api_version(): PF/VF API version mismatch:(0.0)-(1.1)
i40evf_check_api_version(): PF/VF API version mismatch:(0.0)-(1.1)
i40evf_init_vf(): check_api version failed
i40evf_init_vf(): check_api version failed
This happens only rarely. 98% of the time init is fine.
