Hi Marvin, Thanks for your guidance. I got some tips from serverfault.com, so do you have some manual for Intel NIC runtime configuration? https://serverfault.com/questions/775980/disable-internal-intel-x710-lldp-agent?utm_medium=organic&utm_source=google_rich_qa&utm_campaign=google_rich_qa Thanks, Phil Yang From: Liu, Yong Sent: Friday, June 15, 2018 5:04 PM To: Phil Yang Cc: dts@dpdk.org; nd Subject: RE: [dts] How to disable the BOOTP and LLDP packets on tester ? Phil, BOOTP is the packets sent by dhcp client. You can check whether Network-manager or dhcp client running in the background. For LLDP packet, FVL with firmware6.0 can't disable it. If FVL with firmware 5.X or lower version, you can disable it in i40e driver. i40e_main.c //pf->hw_features |= I40E_HW_STOP_FW_LLDP; Thanks, Marvin From: Phil.Yang@arm.com [mailto:Phil.Yang@arm.com] Sent: Wednesday, June 13, 2018 6:13 PM To: Liu, Yong > Cc: dts@dpdk.org; nd > Subject: [dts] How to disable the BOOTP and LLDP packets on tester ?
