FYI, your patch has been queued to LTS release 17.11.1
Note it hasn't been pushed to http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk-stable yet.
It will be pushed if I get no objections before 02/03/18. So please

Subject: [PATCH] eal/arm64: remove the braces in memory barrier macros

for the code as follows:
if (condition)
rte_smp_rmb();
else
rte_smp_wmb();
Without this patch, compiler will report this error:
error: 'else' without a previous 'if'
