Hi,
It was observed that in DPDK packet drops were observed when OS was
upgraded to Oracle Linux 7.8 i.e:
From *4.14.35-1818.3.3.el7uek.x86_64* ==>
*4.14.35-1902.300.11.el7uek.x86_64*.
After reverting back to the older kernel (4.14.35-1818.3.3.el7uek.x86_64)
there were no packet drops.
DPK version being used is - DPDK v19.11.
Any lead to understand the root cause would be appreciated.
What factors could affect the kernel upgrade?
Regards
Vikram
