Subject: Intel E810 (ICE PMD) missing LSC event
Date: Thu, 14 Mar 2024 11:21:58 -0400	[thread overview]

Regarding this discussion in the dev list:
https://www.mail-archive.com/dev@dpdk.org/msg283938.html

I was told from Intel Premier Support to ask my question here. We are
seeing this E810 link issue where cables are pulled and replaced and link
status is missed. When I patch in this suggested workaround to the PMD,
the issue goes away.

Is this patch safe for delivery to production environments? Or is it
better to wait for the firmware update?

Thanks.

Eric
