Hi Shai,

That's great to hear that you will be ready to turn on the initial testing on Monday. When you do that, please let me know if you have any questions and of course if you ping me on Monday I can assist if needed.

Also, we will have a DPDK CI Testing call next Thursday. It would be great if you can join then, so that we can go over the AWS lab reporting, future goals etc. If so, I will send you an updated invite, as the time may have shifted since you joined before (depending on how your country handles daylight saving time).

Thanks,
Patrick

Hi  Robb, our intern has returned from their examination period and has made significant progress since then.

The technical challenges we encountered were not related to your scripting, but rather to the limitations of the EC2 environment (specifically, issues with security token expiration when tests exceeded 60 minutes, combining the results from multiple instances, and the inability to email outside of the AWS ecosystem).
After he addressed these challenges, we have allowed the framework to run on a daily basis over the past two weeks, sending the output to an external Gmail account for verification.
We can confirm that the system is functioning as expected.

We plan to make the framework operational this upcoming Monday, as we have a holiday over the weekend so we'll not be available to handle emerging issues.

Best regards,
Shai
