Since branches can have characters such as "/" and ".", and DRF does not url
encode the lookup_key, we need to update the scripts to get the branch based on
filtering instead of directly trying to access the detailed view.

I tried to encode it myself, but my attempts failed, hence the lookup_key will
go back to being the primary key instead of the branch name.

(A PR will be made only if this ends up being required for the GA performance
testing, and closed otherwise)
