Subject: [dpdk-dev] [dpdk-announce] release candidate 18.02-rc4
Date: Thu, 08 Feb 2018 23:38:35 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <11273324.2sya2JGQOB@xps> (raw)

A new DPDK release candidate is ready for testing:
	http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/tag/?id=v18.02-rc4

The release notes should be closed now:
	http://dpdk.org/doc/guides/rel_notes/release_18_02.html

There are a lot of deprecation notices waiting
for merge in the 18.02 release notes.
Please review, ack or discuss them.
These announces are mandatory to prepare the next release.

This is a very short release candidate (only two days after RC3),
in order to do a last validation before Chinese New Year.
Everything should be perfect now :-)
If more changes are required after this stage, please test them carefully
and be prepared to assume a possible regression in the major 18.02 release.

Happy testing
