Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH 1/5] ethdev: support of multiple sizes of redirection table
Date: Fri, 22 Aug 2014 16:26:05 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1408695969-9774-2-git-send-email-helin.zhang@intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1408695969-9774-1-git-send-email-helin.zhang@intel.com>
To support different sizes of redirection table,
* 'struct rte_eth_rss_reta' has been redefined.
* New element of 'reta_size' is added into
'struct rte_eth_dev_info'.
* New parameter of 'redirection table size' is
required for updating/querying redirection
table entries.
* Interfaces of updating/querying redirection
table entries have been reworked to support
multiple sizes.
Currently the supported redirection table sizes
are 64, 128 and 512 entries, according to the
hardware specifications.
