Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v5 04/25] net/thunderx/base: add mbox API for ThunderX PF/VF driver communication
Date: Wed, 15 Jun 2016 00:36:19 +0530 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1465931200-23912-5-git-send-email-jerin.jacob@caviumnetworks.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1465931200-23912-1-git-send-email-jerin.jacob@caviumnetworks.com>
DPDK nicvf driver doesn't have access to NIC's PF address space.
Introduce a mailbox mechanism to communicate with PF driver through
shared 128bit register interface.
