Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v5] build: alias default build as generic
Date: Tue, 30 Mar 2021 08:40:19 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1617086419-15570-1-git-send-email-juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1617014956-13053-1-git-send-email-juraj.linkes@pantheon.tech>
The current machine='default' build name is not descriptive. The actual
default build is machine='native'. Add an alternative string which does
the same build and better describes what we're building:
machine='generic'. Leave machine='default' for backwards compatibility.
