Subject: [dpdk-dev] [dpdk-announce] release candidate 18.05-rc5
Date: Wed, 23 May 2018 02:17:05 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <2881122.SVMTdQmMnh@xps> (raw)

A new DPDK release candidate is ready for testing:
	https://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk/tag/?id=v18.05-rc5

The release notes are online:
	http://dpdk.org/doc/guides/rel_notes/release_18_05.html

There are 140 new commits, but no new feature since 18.05-rc3.
The next release candidate is expected to include only some
very important bug fixes, tools, deprecations or documentation updates.
We target a -rc6 on 25th of May, which should be the last changeset.

Please test carefully this release candidate.

In order to prepare the next cycle, the deprecation notices
must be reviewed before -rc6, and the roadmap topics proposed
on the mailing list.

Thank you everyone
