Subject: [dpdk-dev] Deprecating coremask for the corelist option
Date: Wed, 8 Feb 2017 16:01:35 +0000 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <5613D66A-7AF5-4B6B-834F-F3808623A25B@intel.com> (raw)
Do we want to deprecate the coremask (-c option) and use the corelist (-l option)?
The number of cores is now greater then 64 bits and the coremask is difficult for people to work with when selecting cores.
We can send out a deprecation notice and start removing the code for next release or the release after next to give a bit more time.
Regards,
Keith
