I’ve been trying to connect to download the 1.6 version.  Does anybody have a status on dpdk.org<http://dpdk.org>?

You should try to download a newer version :)

Yes it was down but now the problem seems to be fixed.
We are going to investigate why the kernel has crashed.
It may be due to a recent upgrade of the allocated resources.

I restored the repository from a backup.
I hope all is fixed now.
