Minutes
-------

* Call for papers for APAC summit now open. Expect most submissions to happen in the last week of the CFP.
  - *Action All*: Ask for techboard to sign up for program committee to review - link sent round
  - *Action All*: TB members to fill out doodle poll for review meeting for summit

* Boring Router[1] is a simple router for DPDK
  - written using DPDK graph library
  - changes required to graph library already upstreamed - pending merge
  - suggestion that project could be hosted on DPDK itself
  - this could be used as an example of "bringing DPDK up the stack"
  - could bring greater attention to project and get more volunteers on it
  - documentation would be included in project
  - Code is BSD licensed, written from scratch [also inspired by BSD stack]
  - For now Robin is only author and maintainer
  - *Action Robin*: Ask for a 1-page summary of project and plans, for referral to Gov board
  - Techboard voted and agreed this is suitable for hosting on DPDK.

* Workgroup to discuss and document process for accepting new PMDs
  - Ask from Ferruh
  - Ferruh and Thomas are aligned on what the current process is, but it's not documented
  - *Action Thomas/Ferruh*: Thomas and Ferruh to document current understanding
  - *Action Jerin*: Jerin to do inital review of document
  - Doc to be then sent to community and techboard for wider review

* Second summit definitely happening later in year.
  - Planned for Sept 24th-25th
  - Will be held in Montreal
