Subject: [dpdk-dev] [PATCH v2 4/5] eal/armv8: define architecture specific rdtsc hz
Date: Fri, 22 Sep 2017 13:55:36 +0530	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <f5fab07c2314a37d2fb433be13d1e90d206d82af.1506058385.git.gowrishankar.m@linux.vnet.ibm.com> (raw)

In-Reply-To: <cover.1506058385.git.gowrishankar.m@linux.vnet.ibm.com>

From: Jerin Jacob <jerin.jacob@caviumnetworks.com>

Use cntvct_el0 system register to get the system counter frequency.

If the system is configured with RTE_ARM_EAL_RDTSC_USE_PMU then
return 0(let the common code calibrate the tsc frequency).
