Generic Routing Encapsulation (GRE) is a tunneling protocol developed by Cisco Systems that can encapsulate
a wide variety of network layer protocols inside virtual point-to-point links over an Internet Protocol network.
Fortville support GRE packet detecting, checksum computing and filtering.
