Subject: Re: [dts] [V2] [PATCH] Add basic packet rxtx test case for sriov VF
Date: Thu, 24 Dec 2015 07:17:28 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <82F45D86ADE5454A95A89742C8D1410E0319AA0E@shsmsx102.ccr.corp.intel.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <86228AFD5BCD8E4EBFD2B90117B5E81E10F946FA@SHSMSX103.ccr.corp.intel.com>

One more comment:
If using kernel Host driver, we need turn on the CRC strip on the VF testpmd, or else there will be 4 bytes missing which will cause the packet truncated when using tcpdump.

Below is the command to set crc-strip on, we need set it before forwarding methods.

testpmd>port stop all
testpmd>port config all crc-strip on
testpmd>port start all

Thanks
Qian
