Hi,

From Intel’s DPDK 17.05 performance report for X710 Converged Ethernet Adapter (below), I see that you used the below host FW/driver versions on Ubuntu:
https://fast.dpdk.org/doc/perf/DPDK_17_05_Intel_NIC_performance_report.pdf

Driver version: 1.4.25-k
firmware-version: 5.05 0x800028a6 0.0.0

Could you please advise what should be the right ESXi 6.0 equivalent ?

My current configuration is:

Module: i40e
   Module File: /usr/lib/vmware/vmkmod/i40e
   License: GPL
   Version: Version 2.0.6, Build: 2494585, Interface: 9.2 Built on: Mar 11 2017
   Build Type: release

   Containing VIB: net-i40e
   VIB Acceptance Level: certified

Firmware Version: 5.40 0x80002d33 18.0.17

Thanks
