Subject: [dpdk-users] Issue with IGMP query v2
Date: Wed, 10 Feb 2016 21:24:29 +0530	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <CAOje91_2FPR9=+TYiYk3JO2fGR-_iB=ERu0Wqn__2YPfNE9xyA@mail.gmail.com> (raw)

I have been trying to get ethernet frames having IGMP version 2 query,
using the function rte_eth_rx_burst. But it seems that those frames are
being skipped by DPDK, even though tcpdump is capturing those packets.

Does that mean that DPDK does not handle IGMP? This could be the case as
there are no APIs to handle IGMP unlike protocols such as ICMP or UDP.

NIC: Mellanox ConnectX-3
DPDK version 2.2.0
MLNX OFED version: 3.1-1.1.0.1
