I followed this tutorial to install DPDK and OVS with DPDK= configuration :http://docs.openvswitch.org/en/latest/intro/install/dpdk/ a= nd followed the instructions in PHY-PHY in http://docs.openvswitch.org/en/l= atest/howto/dpdk/ to build up the intended setup. To test this setup, I di= rectly plugged the physical NICs of node-01 and Node-03 into the DPDK physi= cal NICs at node 02. Then I tried to ping Node-03 from Node-01 but it doesn= 't work though the ARPing is working and when I run dump-flows on the OVS-D= PDK bridge, I can find the ping packets matched in their corresponding flow= s but can't received at the connected hosts. I tried to write the destinati= on MAC address for each flow to ensure the delivery, but it doesn't work ei= ther. I tried also to enable the flow negotiation and flow control for both= the receiving and transmitting queues of the bridge DPDK ports by running: Using Open vSwitch with DPDK - Open vSwitch Documentation docs.openvswitch.org OVS with DPDK Inside VMs=B6. Additional configuration is required if you wa= nt to run ovs-vswitchd with DPDK backend inside a QEMU virtual machine. ovs= -vswitchd creates separate DPDK TX queues for each CPU core available. ovs-vsctl set Interface options:tx-flow-ctrl=3Dtrue ovs-vsctl set Interface options:rx-flow-ctrl=3Dtrue ovs-vsctl set Interface options:flow-ctrl-autoneg=3Dtrue It doesn't work. I also enabled the IP forwarding in the both communicating nodes (1 & 3). So can anyone please help in figuring out what is wrong in this setup?.A th= ing to add. The two DPDK physical interfaces added to the OVS-DPDK bridge i= s on the same NIC and it's: BCM57416 NetXtreme-E 10GBase. My system has 4 cores with hyper-threading an= d one socket. Mona
