Trishan has approved the final payment for the current contract. It's working its way through the LF finance process now.
The contract extension to the end of 2018 is being approved within the LF. The contract will be extended on an annual basis after that, which aligns with the project's budget cycle.
We'll consider extra CI scope as part of the contract extension for next year. We need to plan this in Sept/Oct/Nov, and have the contract extension for 2019 ready in early Dec.
Lab/CI would make a good topic for the DPDK Summit Userspace event in Dublin. The CFP for this is now open at: https://goo.gl/forms/Jh70MIA7QJE2nSBb2.
All equipment that has been sent to UNH is now up and running. All patch sets are being tested on all hardware.
Georgii is still working on getting 40G Intel NICs sent to UNH. He hopes that they'll arrive late this week or early next week.
Patrick is working on the dashboard. He currently has a table showing the status of testing on each patch (https://dpdkdemo.iol.unh.edu/results/dashboard/). At the moment, only vendors have access to the test results for their platforms. Please provide any feedback on the dashboard to Patrick.
Screenshots of the dashboard are also available at: http://dpdk.org/ml/archives/ci/2018-June/000187.html. Trishan will show these to the Governing Board at their next meeting.
Discussed what we would like to see for historical data. The FD.io CSIT project (https://wiki.fd.io/view/CSIT) may be a good reference to look at to see what's required.
Ali and Thomas upgraded dpdk.org to Patchwork 2. See https://dpdk.org/dev/patchwork/project/dpdk/list/. This provides support for patch series, which may help to simplify the test setup for the lab.
DPDK Summit PRC:
This is on June 28th. It would be good if we can announce the first public test results in the introduction to the summit.
The dashboard needs to be in place. Patrick thinks this is possible.
Vendors need to confirm that they're happy with the test results on their platforms, and that it's OK to make the results public.
