Subject: [dpdk-stable] patch 'net/bnx2x: fix memory leak' has been queued to LTS release 18.11.2
Date: Wed, 8 May 2019 11:14:44 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20190508101534.8984-2-ktraynor@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20190508101534.8984-1-ktraynor@redhat.com>

Hi,

FYI, your patch has been queued to LTS release 18.11.2

Note it hasn't been pushed to http://dpdk.org/browse/dpdk-stable yet.
It will be pushed if I get no objections before 05/13/19. So please
shout if anyone has objections.

Also note that after the patch there's a diff of the upstream commit vs the
patch applied to the branch. This will indicate if there was any rebasing
needed to apply to the stable branch. If there were code changes for rebasing
(ie: not only metadata diffs), please double check that the rebase was
correctly done.

Queued patches are on a temporary branch at:
https://github.com/kevintraynor/dpdk-stable-queue

This queued commit can be viewed at:
https://github.com/kevintraynor/dpdk-stable-queue/commit/272093cc912fa98dee9e5382d6c0efbc780948e5

Thanks.

Kevin Traynor

Subject: [PATCH] net/bnx2x: fix memory leak

[ upstream commit 68ed0742256dde2335cb1f6560ef94e7b29febed ]

We allocate DMA memory but never free after using it.
Add function to free DMA memory.

Fixes: b5bf7719221d ("bnx2x: driver support routines")
